One of the very worst live albums there are; absolutely bloodless. Just listening to that trio of female background singers alone makes me cringe, especially when all three of them are needed to sing Claire Torry's outburst from "Dark side of the Moon" NOTE FOR NOTE! How fantastic this could have been if just one female singer went on overdrive like Torry did and improvised her heart out. Instead they stick to the Torry performance note for note and divide the part onto three, so all can have a go. I don't need a band who try to reproduce their studio sound live. What I want from a band that plays live is showing a live spirit, but Pink Floyd here behave as if they are in the studio. There was a time when they were a good live band; just listen to the live parts of "Ummagumma". But this album makes me stick my fingers into my ears.
