Drama shows one more time some personnel changes: out is Rick Wakeman (again) and, most dramatic, out is Jon Anderson!!, the newcomers are Geoff Downes (keys) and Trevor Horn (vocals), both from the band The Buggles. But most important, there were changes of sound and direction for the band, and those changes were for the better. The epic Machine Messiah is one of the strongest and most progressive tracks the band has ever made. Other standout tracks are Does it really happen and Into the Lens. The overall sound is incredibly fresh (for 1980) and stands far away from the previous album (the dodgy Tormato). The result is nothing like the band has ever done before but it remains very progressive and most of all very "Yes". Highly recommended!
