I agree with some previous reviews: even when Kraan can be consider a "kraut" band at least this record is closer to fusion, psychedelic and symphonic elements. The three first songs has some recognizable elements from bands like Spektakel, SFF and even MGP. On the other hand, the last four songs sounds much experimental and kraut, with spacy sax backgrounds, distortioned vocals and almost improvised guitar solos.

"Andy Nogger" is a good album. You will not find any surprises in the tracks and sometimes can be a little monotonous, but at last sounds nice. "Stars" has a catchy melody with an almost funky 70's sound and some interesting arabic passages in the middle. "Andy Nogger" has a nice intro and it's very psychedelic but repetitive. "Nam Nam" is a psychedelic instrumental with nice percussions and a powerful bass and an interesting guitar solo in the middle but is not kraut (at leats for me). Definetively a jazz fusion song!.

The second part of the album (for me) opens with "Son of the Sun", a song a little slow than the previous ones, again with that Spektakel sound that I really enjoy. Great sax solo by J. Pappert. Could be the best song of the album but the last two minutes are really bored!. "Holiday am Marterhorn" IS the song! At the start sounds like Moving Gelatine Plates with ice but powerful rhythmical guitar and sax, but after a while turns into a very heavy psychedelic-kraut instrumental, very spacy and with great solos and an awsome bass!. "Home" and "Yellow Bamboo" close the album, two decent songs with spacy vocales and sax, very psychedelic but monotonous.

Anyway, I like it... Not the best kraut-psychedelic album that I've heard but is very good...
