IMPRESSIONABLE SOUNDS OF THE SUBSONIC

If you're not a fan of space rock, substitute my 4 stars for 3. If you are a fan, take my rating, bump it up to 5, and put this at the top of your to-buy list. Or, option three, if you're a Hawkwind fan, stop whatever you're doing - leave the iron on, forget your mother at the dentist, everything - and buy this album now.

A step forward from their previous album (which is good in its own right), "Impressionable Sounds of the Subsonic" has everything you could ever want: killer bass lines, screaming guitars, spacey synth, awesome percussion, and sublime vocals in English and Swedish. And, as icing on the cake, there's some really nice flute work, both mellow and raging.

So, for those out there who want to be transported to all corners of the (apparently square?) universe, go out and buy this essential space rock release!
