ARGUS

This is one the greatest progressive metal albums of the early 1970's. From the beginning with "Time Was" to the ending with "Throw Down the Sword'. Argus was Wishbone Ash's masterpiece and it's a shame that not enough people know about them. They were to me a happy middle ground with Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin on the metal side and Gentle Giant and King Crimson on the progressive side. Every great band has at least one maybe two masterpieces and ARGUS was definitely true for Wishbone Ash.
