PHANTOM PHORCE

This album features a bunch of remixes of the tracks from their 2003 album "Phantom Power". How different the remixes are from the original tracks varies immensely; some songs are only slightly different to the originals whereas some are almost incomprehencible and only the track listing will reveal what it's a remix of. This makes for an interesting and diverse listen but this really strikes me as a bit of a failed experiment. The commentary isn't worth hearing more than once but is spread all through the album, usually occuring between tracks, meaning it's incovenient to skip; so I'm not sure what they were going for, is this only meant to be listened to once? It's not really worth hearing more than once anyway, it's more of a gimmick than a proper album. Only recommended for fans of Phantom Power.
