THE ENDLESS RIVER

I truly did not expect myself to like this album. Material that did not make it into The Division Bell? What good could it be, considering I am not a fan of the 1994 album to begin with? Now, having listened to it three times for the past three days I say with huge relief that it is a proper Pink Floyd album and that I like it. The PF magic is still there. Sometimes it sounds 90s, sometimes 70s. I am deeply amazed how talented these guys are for even the material that was shelved for 20 years sounds better than most of contemporary progressive music. 3 full stars.
