IN THE CITY OF ANGELS

Usually I find some song or part of an album that I like. I try to be nice and fair to the artists but there is just nothing on this album here for me. It is all soft pop and it's not really that good. I kind of like "Sundancing" for it has a cool ethnic beat with Nintendo sounding synths coming in and out. I would feel like I was plaing Super Mario Kart if it wasn't for the vocals. The other song that is decent is "Top of the World". It has nice guitar work around a gated drum sound (hmm.... where would he have gotten that idea?). Well tose are the best of an album that is not even close to what he can accomplish. I'm sorry but this is not the Jon Anderson I care to remember.
