4 stars This is a great psychedelic album but not prog.

"A Saucerful Of Secrets" is one of my favourite psychedelic albums. I consider it even better than the first one "The piper at the gates of dawn". In this album Syd Barret and David Gilmour are playing together. I think it is the one album where the quintet plays together. The album is full of hypnotic and creative sounds created with so soft tones and voices, psychedelic riffs and strange effects like in the song "A saucerful of secrets". This is my favourite song from the album. It goes from less to more and more. The closer you are to the end of the song the more progressive sound it has.

So I will give 4 stars to this album because it needs more to become a prog masterpiece although it is one of the greatest psychedelic albums.
