LED ZEPPELIN

I can't give this any more than three stars for one simple reason. This isn't progressive music. Led Zeppelin isn't a progressive band. This album, more than any other, makes it perfectly clear where Led Zeppelin is coming from. Their roots like in psychedelic, blues and folk, all of which you can hear in all their glory on this album. If you like that (and I do), well, the music is first rate and would get 4.5 stars on a rating system that just took into account quality. But this album is out of place in a prog collection, so I can't justify anything higher than 3 stars. Still, this is a very clean album. Just about every track is worth listening and relistening to. If you've never heard this, go out and get it. And don't worry about it not being prog.
