Here Genesis are bascially in charge, showing they can make better music than everyone else and lead to the creation of the metrosexual, thanks to Peter Gabriel's costumes. Foxtrot is a cornerstone album in the progressive rock movement, essential for anyone remotely interested in anything worthwhile. Dominated by Tony Bank's keyboards, the whole album exudes a symphonic feel which doesn't fare well with Hackett fans, but whatever. "Watcher Of The Skies" opens with the classic mellotron line and Genesis shows they can rock out in odd time signatures. And don't forget "Supper's Ready"- the insanely classic prog epic that inspired a zillion rip-off neo-prog fans. There's too much to write about this album, so just get it.
