COME IN UN'ULTIMA CENA

This is one of the less known album by Banco, although one of the tracks, "Il ragno", is one of the most famous ones. In 1976, after the instrumental pause of "Garofano Rosso", Francesco di Giacomo came back to write lyrics and sing: the result is this wonderful album (also released, only on vinyl, with English lyrics translated by Angelo Branduardi, a famous italian folksinger songwriter) with many evangelical references, starting from the cover artwork (the inside reproduces "The last supper" by Leonardo Da Vinci in which some of the apostles have been substituted by the group members) till some of the lyrics ("A cena, per esempio", "E' così buono Giovanni ma..", "Voilà Mida"..). With its magical atmospheres it's one of the best efforts of the group. Highly recommended.
