OCTAVARIUM

Writing a review for their last album I feel somewhat obliged to writing a review for Octavarium. In my opinion it is a perfect mix of could be top-chart singles and epic masterpieces. In one word just brilliant! starting of with the root of all evil is powerful and a very good start indeed. setting the pace right from the beginning. on to a easier melody now with the answer lies within and back to these walls. Some people might say it is not progressive rock but the again listen to panic attack, Wow! progressive enough the me. and it gets even better with never enough, a rollercoaster ride of a song.but the best part to me is the title track. I can listen to that one over and over and never seems to falter. A nice touch to it is the ending which blends perfectly in the beginning of the root of all evil. And there we are back to the beginning. Yes a masterpiece indeed!
