4 stars The original co-creators of KC form a band... can it be as good as the monster they had created ?

Well no it is not, but it's not far from it! This album does sound a little like KC, but it has a different approach : one that is more poppy, even though the main 2 tracks are 11 and 21 minutes long. This album is a mix between ITCOTCK and The Beatles, quite a unique combination that was never reproduced I think. The sound of the album is great, even today in 2007! The KC sound comes from the quite large variety of instruments used (quite effectively too) and the jazzy passages. The Beatles sound comes from some poppy parts in music but mainly from the voices, they are very reminescent of that precise Beatles sound.

This is not a perfect album, but it was a really good thing for them to make it, because it's really enjoyable and has a lot of longevity. I can't give this a perfect rating, so this is a solid 4 stars, excellent addition !
