DESIRE CAUGHT BY THE TAIL

This is a very fine collection. Adrian Belew has a great voice, refreshing vocal style, and excellent lyrical sense; however, here he has chosen to put together instrumental pieces. They are really good. These are much more experimental and significantly different than his other offerings. Some of these tunes reemerge later in modified form on future releases. But, anyone who grew up listening to the finest offerings of progressive rock will appreciate this modern masterpiece. It's still distinctly Belew and clearly in the spirit of so many of the good experimental progressive and electronic artists of the past. It certainly sounds like what Desire caught by the tail aught to sound like. Get it! This one's highly recommend.
