5 stars Awsome, cool, great, nice, pleasant, enjoyable. Hmm, lots of happy words. But that just doens't seem to explain this album. These guys are demi-gods of progressive rock, and hopefully some day just rock in general. They're up on the podium with Yes, Pink Floyd, Rush, Dream Theater, and many, many more. They're just someone you can't listen to and say you've listened to progressive rock. Lightbulb sun is sure proof of that. A good mellow album with tons of awsome songs that totally blow our minds away. Evacuate Planet Earth Before it is Recycled.... tell me that's not an awsome title to a song. Great musicians and great talents. Porcupine Tree is someone I've been recommending to everyone. When I get in little music talks I usually mention only my favorites. PT's on top. Lightbulb sun is a good psychedelic, acousticy mellow cd with awsome bass lines and drum stuff that really defines prog in the dictionary. Russia on Ice is just amazing, Shesmovedon is incredible. How is Your Life Today? is pretty much an awsome song, short sweet and just bound to make you smile. Psychedlic too! 5/5 to one of the best PT albums of all. It's got the catchy stuff, the music, instrumental, and brilliance of Steve Wilson. Yup, pretty cool stuff.
