A CHANGE OF SEASONS

Watching and listening to the track "A Change of Seasons" which was played by a local band named The Miracle at Barbados Cafe, Jakarta in an event called "Dream Theater Nite" last week reminds me back in 1995 when I was stunned for the first time with the song. For the first time Dream Theater created a 26 minutes of epic! It's an excellent masterpiece! The melody, the progression, the structure, the composition, anything you name it, it's all amazing! The rest of the album is their covers of some old classics which the complete version appears on their bootleg cd "Uncovered". Back again with the song "ACoS", I'm amazed The Miracle, the imitator of DT, could deliver it perfectly. They also perfectly played other DT classics. Gosh, it makes me desperately want DT playing in Jakarta. Oh, DREAM THEATER... when will you come to our city and make our dream comes true???
