5 stars It came as quite a suprise to me just how good this album really is. After a career that spans so many years and albums there is a real rise in quality and songmanship. This may be the last album from Camel, although this may change as Latimer is now back in England, but if it is the last offering it really is one to be very proud of.

The richness and Englishness of the songs really harks back to the prime period of early 70's English Prog and yet retains a freshness associated with the 21st century. This is combined with some of the best songs to come from Latimer in years. Rajaz was a great precursor to this classic and it's a shame that there has been no output for the past 5 years as Latimer was clearly on a roll.

If there is a flaw with the album it is with the faux cockney voice on Foxhill but even this can be a little endearing after enough listens, and frankly this is an album that matures beautifully. Unfortunately it appears that it has been overlooked by the world at large and will never own the classic status that it deserves.

A rare gem for the modern times.....
