3 stars I see many reviews here not thinking this was a good comeback album after 9 or 10 years off. I would disagree. This album has something about it that keeps me making the occasional listen many years after I bought it.I think the songs are good enough.Iwould have preferred a trip back to the early days, but this one has enough to satisfy the Cult fan in me.Had a track Like Godzilla or Burning For You been on this it probably would have had sold a lot.It has some shades of early BOC such as Hammer Down,I See You In Black,Damaged(love this track). Other tracks I really like but maybe a bit more radio friendly are Harvest Moon ,Cold Grey Light of Dawn,Still Burnin. Power Underneath Despair is ok.The remake In Thee is decent enough.X Ray Eyes and Live For Me are so so. Overall not a waste of money if you are a Cult fan is my best way if putting it.If you are looking for prog go elsewhere.I f you like some catchy rock tunes you could do a lot worse these days.It is a very classic rock album .
