SOMEWHERE ELSE

This my Marillion standards is a poor album. It's like they approached a 'wall' with songwriting and released an album full of nothingness. It is not all bad news folks, with the title track 'Somewhere else' reminding us why we spend all our money on their back catalogue, and a couple of others that just about make the grade. Overall, if you are like me and would buy a toilet seat if it had Marillion written on it then buy it for the shelf and the title track, but if you are new to Marillion, do not try this album first or you will be given a false impression of one fine band.
