Yes, one of the biggest Progrock bands ever delivered with Close To The Edge a masterpiece, without doubt their best effort ever. Yet only counting 3 songs, it is grabbing you from the start, and only willing to let you go after Siberian Khatru has ended, a little bit less than 40 minutes later. The opening track, Close To The Edge, shows Steve Howe's technical skill, and in the third part Jon Andersons voice seems so fragile, it could almost break. The song changes rougher parts for more calm parts. And You And I handles about a quite extraordinary subject for Yes, it's about love and equality. Siberian Khatru is the only song on the record that isn't a multi-part suite, but it is in the tradition of Progrock, a mix from melodies, tones and sections.
