5 stars Neal did what Peter Gabriel and Roger Waters did before they left their bands. He put his signature on his bands history. Snow, just like Lamb Lies Down on Broadway and The Wall, tells a story to anyone who listen to it. Neal told the story in a perfect way. It's a magnum opus that equals to Dream Theater's Metropolis Pt.2 Scene from the Memory. But the thing I still wonder is that he seems making way to NDV to take the lead by giving him greater role in voice section (Good job, Nick..you made it!). Now let's talk about the sound. In Snow, Spock's Beard makes a great leap taking them away from their 70s style performed in The Light. Yes, they also did the same thing in Day for Night and Kindness of Strangers..and other albums I guess..Play the CD and you will find the sound Spock's Beard had created in the album is much richer than in any Spock's Beard's albums. Last but not least, I found that Dave Meros can really show his significant role in this album....
