WINTER LIGHT

This is my favorite album of Oregon (and the very first one I heard of them). The soundscapes created here by the acoustic guitar of Ralph Towner, the oboe of Paul McCandless, the acoustic bass of Glen Moore and the percussion of the late Colin Walcott awake images within your mind. I will even go as far as saying that in "Deer Path" you see the deer gracefully jumping across the path. Very atmospheric; definitely something to listen to while sitting near the fireplace, cuddling with your beloved one and sipping on a glass of red wine from time to time.
