4 stars DT on a roll here, and my first one acquired too! This is another big step in their "new" direction that started with "Scenes From a Memory", featuring longer dramatic tracks and fantastic playing from everyone as usual. This album is dominated by the 42-minute title track which takes up the entire 2nd disc of this 2-disc set, but to me the really good stuff is on Disc 1. The band goes on will full force on 'The Glass Prison' and sustains the intensity throughout the disc, like heavy melodic ups and downs in 'Blind Faith' and unusually dark (for DT) musical twists in 'Misunderstood' and 'Disappear'. Some of their best and heaviest stuff up to date, with "The Glass Prison" and "The Great Debate" being the best tracks. The 2nd disc is very good too, but feels overblown compared to the first disc, although the concept and music is somewhat interesting. A very good starting point if you are new to DT, 6DOIT gives you the full package and is one of their classics besides 'Images & Words', 'Awake' and 'Scenes from a Memory' by now.
