TUBULAR BELLS

This album is perfect from beggining to end, a huge effort from a young and inventive Mike Oldfield. Years light ahead of other people, Oldfield builds a pleasant landscape of sounds that, in opposition of more.. err "difficult" works like Yes's Tales From Topographic Oceans or Jethro Tull's A Passion Play, can be listened to very easily all the way through. Sadly, parts of the album were included in the Exorcist soundtrack. Too heavy subject for a music that is so gently and so nice (and complex). This is essential, you must have this album. Period.
