4 stars Well, somebody has to be the first,so it might as well be me.This Deep purple MK 2 reunion show is an absolute killer concert. Professionally filmed alright, with a band firing on all cylinders, and great sound too. Deep Purple here is touring their recently released Perfect Strangers album ,and of course we get some tracks from that album.4 to be precise, and great ones at that, along with the songs you would totally expect them to play, starting of with Highway star,a great opener as always. Everybody in the band looks like they are having an absolute thrill be back on stage together cranking out their classics. Ian Gillan and Ritchie Blackmore looks so great together again and are totally feeding of one another ,a total delight to see. The only thing that kind of bothers me after repeated viewing is the Paice ,Lord and Blackmore solos. They get kind of get boring, when maybe you could have had another 2 songs like Fireball and maybe a deep cut from Who Do We Think we are.But hey, that's not Deep Purple's fault. That's how they do it in concert.Solos galore during songs (which here are great) and the solo solo's. So,,,If a fan of this great band, there is no way you can lose out on getting this.
