SHOW OF OUR LIVES

This is a rare collection of live and studio recordings with dubious sound quality. Presumably the live gigs emanate from various early BBC sessions circa 1971-72. The good news is that these appear to be different versions than those found on the 2 volume BBC sessions set issued by Hux in 1998. It is a shame however that the liner notes contained in this issue are of no assistance whatsoever so we can only speculate as to the actual recording dates. Furthermore, although some of the BBC sessions have very good sound quality others are rather poor, almost pathetic. So the old maxim applies caveat emptor.
