5 stars Maybe it's not their greatest album, but it's my favourite. IMO this record is the opus magnum of early Pink Floyd sound. From the start we have here great songs. Let There Be More Light - one of the best Waters songs. Great bass riff in the beginning, space sound... Wow. Remeber A Day is a Wright masterpiece (did you know that Nick is not playing drums on this one?). Gentle, psychedelic sound. Set The Controls... another space rock song. I think if it wasn't for this album, there wouldn't be no Hawkwind. Corporall Clegg is a funny tarck, with some fine riffs. Great guitar playing. A Saucerful Of Secrets is very chaotic, with lots of changes, and beautiful ending. See Saw is the weakest track on the album. Nothing special here. And the last track. Epitaph for Syd Barrett. Jugband Blues. Great song. Fine lyrics. The last Barrett song on oficiall Floyd album. A truely masterpiece of psychedelic and space rock music.
