OCTOPUS

This is for many the top of the Gentle Giant's career, and I actually think so. Compositions and executions are at their very peak without a doubt! Nevertheless I think this is the least album to hear if you are an amateur in Gentle Giant. This work in particular is complicated, and you only begin to really enjoy it after a while, but when you finally get it is AMAZING! I personally disliked Knots and A Cry For Everyone the first time I heard them, clearly I wasn't using my five senses at that time. There is not a lot more for me to say about it, I consider it a masterpiece but it isn't my favorite record by Gentle Giant. Come inside if you really want to hear what these guys were capable to do! Highly recommended.
