BIRDS OF FIRE

This is truely THE best Jazz/Fusion album, with some of the greatest instumentation in almost any band. The first time I listened to it I had it in the background and it sounded like an insane mass of sound. But listening to it again afterwards, the structure of the music was very intelligent, not something most bands can pull off. Also, they're use of the "rock violin" is a defining aspect of this CD making it better than it normally would be. I only regret MAHAV wasn't around longer to produce more genious.
