OPERATION

Of the 2 Birth Control albums I own this is far and away my favourite. The songs are hard hitting and in your face. The organ sound reminds me at times of other bands as diverse as the Doors & Uriah Heep. Suprisingly too Bruno Frenzel doesn't have the obvious European singing English sound so common with this kind of band. Confident drums and some sharp guitar make this a very good record. the cover art is rather horrifying and even today could be seen as controvercial which I think adds to the whole thing very well.
