PRIDE

Arena's second album Pride is a cotinuation from the debut 'songs from the lions cage' album. Like the former it has five songs linked by crying for help parts V to VIII. Among them is the masterpiece Medusa one of the genre's greatest ever tracks. The Marillionesque sound which was apparent on a couple of songs on the 1st album is now gone. Perhaps this is down to a personel change (Paul Wrightson now on vocals and John Jowitt bass).

Clive and Mick have written another class record with this one but I feel it is missing that overall quality to gain a five star. But still everyone should own it.
