2 stars This live album was distributed with Italian "Melodie & Dissonanze" magazine, and it presents the live concert capabilities from the early days of Landberk. The biggest flaw in that potential is in my opinion the singer, who has a pretty voice but not very good technical control of it; Some off-key wailings are quite bad stuff to listen. Also many of the songs don't differ much from their studio versions. The songs from their first album are sung in Swedish, so if you have the English version of that album, there is some variation value for that perspective on this album. Also there is a decent version of Van Der Graaf Generator's "Afterwards" on here, not being as good as their own BBC radio version of it in my opinion, but an interesting one to listen as there are also Mellotrons on this performance. "Song from Kallsedet" has a little different arrangement here than on the early studio albums. The wailing guitar solo in the last song "Undrar om Ni Ser" is wonderful, maybe the players started to warm up during the concert after all. If you are a big fan of the early records of this band, this is an interesting anecdote to have in your record collection, but I wouldn't spend very big amounts of money for it. In addition of this album one can find Landberk live recordings from some of the 1990's "Progfest" CD compilations.

And the material here is almost the same as on "Riktig akta"/ "Lonely land" - so it's just like another, slightly weaker version of these albums. DEfi ... (read more)
