Progressive Biography
Date of birth: 19th September 1987
I was first introduced to progressive rock after seeing the video for "Schism" by Tool and seeing that there is a much better world of music than what i normally listened to. Ever since i have been buying mostly Tool and Pink Floyd albums after my friend pete introduced me to them. He also got me into Yes and my friend Oli asked me to check out King Crimson and The Moody Blues who are both incredible. After this i wanted to seek out more prog rock bands and i stumbled upon this amazing site. By reading reviews i got myself into many amazing bands on this site.
Number of CD in your collection of original progressive albums: far too many
I have done profiles for Tool, James Labrie, Oceansize, Meshuggah, Jeff Wayne, Do Make Say Think, Fly Pan Am and Super Furry Animals.
I am also into a lot more bands but these ones are the main favourites!
Other comments: I am 17 years old and love to study my favourite prog rock albums and then review them to my very best standards on this site. Also i am pretty obsessed with The Mars Volta and i am a regular forum user! You can find out about my discography here...
