Progressive Biography
I'm just a (prog) music freak like you!
Additionally I have been working as a software developer for almost three decades. I joined Progarchives in 2005 and eventually became a collaborator. Being a software guy, I was mainly interested in improving how Progarchives worked internally. Eventually I got a little frustrated since there wasn't that much room for that type of collaboration at PA, it's pretty much all handled by M@x. So I eventually started my own little music website, progfreak.com, which I relaunched in 2023 as awesomeprog.com. I never completely lost interest in PA, and progfreak/AP has always been providing assistance to PA as a platform for the PA genre teams to evaluate potential new artist additions.
In 2023, right when I re-launched PF as awesomeprog.com, I got interested in PA again. Even though Progarchives is something of a dinosaur technology-wise, it is still the most active prog rock user base on the planet. So while I will keep working on my own website, I'll also frequent the PA forum and publish some reviews here. So see you out there, and keep on progging!
