[Leaving home in trance is a word, when spoken in trance it may return but may never again be present. And that is what pisses me off!

the idea is to get as personal with the forum to get the most out of everybody's questions as you can without actually getting personal.

Led Zeppelin. They more or less 'invented' rock music as we know it. (Even the NME who despised them have admitted this)

Not true. They kinda developed Heavy Metal though :) |
Zep were never a heavy metal band. Which part is "not true"? I have the NME "Rock Book" from which the quote is taken.

I can't really see them as developing heavy metal either.

In terms of single members, Yes had one of the greatest lineups ever. Rush also has an incredible line up, as for me I think Rush accompished with 3 people the same as Yes could accomplish with 5. same goes for Genesis and Pink Floyd and other prog pioneers.
The most influencial artist: Elvis Presley or Johnny Cash
Most influencial band: Beatles
Most talented group overally: Rush
I think The Who, Rush and Yes are all right up their along with The Beatles
