^^ please visit their great website at www.progpoweruk.com which should answer all those questions... if not, you can email the organisers directly from the site; they are very good at getting back to people with the appropriate info..Thumbs Up
Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

As far as parking goes, there is a HUGE, FREE car park for about 12,000 cars (and plenty of space for bikes too) right at the venue.  That is one of the good things about it not being a city centre venue.

There are also plenty of B&Bs nearby as well.  They cater for 250,000 people over Gold Cup week, so no worries on that front.

A review of last year's event is here http://www.progpoweruk.com/2007/official%20review_2006.html

Any questions, drop me a line.

Can I ask, is there anyone on this site who will be going to this festival??Ermm

Unfortunately, Scar Symmetry have cancelled the gig, as they have been offered an opportunity to tour the United Sates for a month. Disapprove

Consequently, their place has been taken by Heed (from Sweden) who will now be opening the show.  Doors open at 12.30pm Sat 31st; Heed will be on stage at 13.00 sharp (or, so I'm told...).Clap

If anyone is going, maybe we could meet up for a drink during the event??Big%20smile
