He he. Yeah, I better pack an umbrella and remember my rain coat. Oh well, the upside is at least it won't be too hot if there's a storm. I'm glad I have my ticket already in case the festival moves indoors.

Well, it sounds great. Unfortunately this is when my town starts to go nuts again. The students are back, Wolverines play on Saturday, and the restaurants get slammed (that hurricane doesn't look too welcoming either). Have fun, and get some pictures for us.

Vanderbilt, not much of a contest. It will still be huge, because it is the season opener.

hahah... ask Phil Fulmer how little of a contest Vandy is hahha...

anyway.... we were spared the worst when he turned to the east slightly.. so other than having large branches fall upon the house and heavy rain..  it wasn't bad.. thanks to all who expressed concern...

Looking foward to ProgDay tommorrow and listening to some groups that I wouldn't normally catch.

Wow, it's kind of weird looking at a picture of a bunch of people who I was talking to this past weekend(IZZ that is). What a show they put on too. The whole weekend was great. I can honestly say I liked every band. Sure the prog snobs had a field day with IZZ and Spiraling but that's their problem. THe key to this festival is diversity. TOo bad only about 220 or so people showed up. I guess it's not the numbers that matter though. Anyway, Micky I missed you unless you are the really tall guy with a mustache who always seems to wear King Crimson t-shirts. I guess you could have been anyone. In fact I might even have seen you or talked to you and not even known who you were. Hopefully, I'll be back next year and hopefully with a crapload more money to burn on cds too. ;)

hahha.. I did make it  you might have seen me but I woke up Saturday feeling under the weather a bit.. arrived late ...halfway through Woodenhead's set, spent more money than I care to say (great albums though hahah) with Greg, caught Beardfish and Uzva, then started to feel rather ill again and went home,  went to bed... and got back out of bed Monday missing the whole 2nd day.  Sorry I missed you but as you could imagine.. not feeling well.. I wasn't particularly social hahahha.  No that wasn't me... I was the short little runt in the tie die... not that that helps at all Wink  I was going to post a review of the festival but since obviously isn't possible...why don't you take a stab at it.   I did really enjoy Beardfish though.. bought both of their albums and can't wait to see what they do with that last 28 odd minute piece of music on record.  Did get a chance to talk to them... nice guys and some real potential though.  There's always next year perhaps...
