Listening to Iron Maiden's Best Of The Beast compilation, I noticed that on the track Sign Of The Cross, Steve Harris writes about "Eleven saintly shrouded men... One in front with a cross held high". This is a blatant lift from Genesis' Supper's R

Will do. Anyone rate John McLaughlin's Shakti stuff? I've got the live acoustic album from Portsmouth (?) '75 and the playing is blinding.

Wasn't it John Fogerty who got sued by his former record label for plagiarising (sounding like) himself? And Neil Young who got into trouble for not sounding like himself
