Well, i dont work with music full time
i play in two bands, one of them plays classic rock, purple, zeppelin, Floyd, Rush, Nazareth, Bob Dylan and whatever comes that way the other one is a Progressive rock band, in this one im even more perfectionist, playing shows with metronome so we can be in sync with DVDs i produce to match the playing (you guess should see we playing Echoes, by Floyd, in the end its a big jam, so it was kinda tricky to do the screen behind, but random images and psychedelic accelerated images worked BEAUTIFULLY) both of them writes their own music, and the classic rock one is where i get the money for my equipment, since the prog rock one is not so public friendly hehehehe i also produce a load of beggining bands (mostly emocore ones who wants to have a good guy representing them, tough none of them are getting far, im just ripping them off hehehehehe ) and stuff like that quite a load of work for a 18 year old hehehehehe |

I play piano and guitar. I was in a band, but quit it because they only
wanted to cover bullsh*t songs like 'Seven Nation Army' and
'Starcrossed'. It was a good choice because they now are really
worthless, and weren't allowed to the school's Battle of the Bands.
I'm starting a prog-ish band with the old drummer, but I'll unfortunatly have to throw some pop-covers and metal elements through it because the dumbass idiots at the school wouldn't recognise good music even if it made sweet love to them (like it does to me). There's also this raggae-grunge band that I'm gonna play in, I'm good friends with the band leader/lead guitarist, and also live close to him. This is important 'cos I totally dig his younger sister. Something unserious called 'De Galschreeuwracers.'[Trancelated: The Galscreamracers.]
The band consits of nothing but a drummer and a keyboarder/vocallist[Myself] and we're making a blackmetal subgenre we very HIMishly made our own called 'spockmetal', What we basically do is cover internet animations like Magical Trevor, and The Llama song in a blackmetal way. With only a drummer and a keyboarder. I'm also in an experimental ambient trance project called Stasis And I produce independantly under the name Xiaoj, more experimental metal and ambient and some techtrance and classical. |

Don't invest too much effort in your life, you won't make it out of it alive anyway.

I play in a small band since a few weeks, playing synth. We don't play prog though, just rock / blues / reggae / gospel, since I'm the only prog lover in the band. It's nice though, and we've only just started.

I play in a band called Ænigma,
we're from Italy. Our genre is hard to classify, let's say a
progressive-thrash metal experiment... If you're curious our demo is
downloadable from our website www.aenigmaband.com

See thread on Malaysian prog-rock ... also in Music and Musician
Exchange ... that's me on lead vocals and keyboards ... for my former
band Samarkand (a prog band that had a Top 10 hit!)
I now play bass in a folk-rock group called Mojo Pin ... fingers crossed that the album's ready next year |

"Death to Utopia! Death to faith! Death to love! Death to hope?" thunders the 20th century. "Surrender, you pathetic dreamer.”
"No" replies the unhumbled optimist "You are only the present." |
