I've been trying to find the name of this song for long time. It's sounds like 60s/70s song. I will be very grateful if anyone could help me find the name of this song thanks Wink here is the song sample: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FU74qHlNwA0

I've never heard it, but have you tried typing some of the lyrics into google? (assuming you can make them out on your copy - the audio on YouTube is terrible!)

Yes I have tried searching on Google but no results. I've been trying to find the name of this song for ages. So far 1761 people listened to my sample but this mystery goes on >> https://www.watzatsong.com/en/name-that-tune/511040.html

Language: English Lyrics, part I: 0m05s These arms are for loving you 0m10s Even if just to hold you close. 0m18s its that (2 syllables)like astrology 0m24s If you leave, 0m29s you'll never come back to them.

Or the lyrics could be: Give me time, for loving you. Give me time, to hold you close. Inside your head, like it's gonna be. If you leave, you'll never come back. And then one day, you went to easily. Let go, be mine my daddy. ???, ???. Cause i love my girl, my destiny. Give me time, for loving you. Give me time, to hold you close. Inside your head, like it's gonna be. If you leave, you'll never come back.

I couldn't figure it out either. I've been trying to figure out a song for a long time too but I don't want to detract from your post by posting the lyrics. Good luck.

I posted this to a Facebook group that is all musicians in cover bands, and one of them suggested letting this app analyze it:

I won't have time to try it myself for a while, but I'll let the PA worldwide community chomp on it!  (I'd be surprised if this hasn't been tried already).

I see you taped this from the radio "a long time ago." And google doesn't seem to recognize the lyrics at all.

This is a tough one, I don't know.

The key is who's singing, as there is no one else leading on the song.   And it doesn't sound 60s, much more like 70s maybe even early 80s.

It's funny someone suggested Aprhodite's Child because I believe this was posted on another prog forum and someone on there said they thought the vocals sounded like Demi Roussos.

Sounds a little like it could be Percy Sledge.

I can see the connection, however, the song style is very much more American, and AC was nowhere near anything like that at all!

However, I do NOT have any Demis Roussos solo albums, and this could very well fit one of them.

I agree, early Aphrodite's Child was mainstream, but extremely dramatic, this sounds too plain for Aphrodite's Child.

Plus Demis Roussos had a very characteristic and unique vibrato, that this vocalist doesn't have. The similarity is in the high vocal range, but nothing else.
