I see you taped this from the radio "a long time ago." And google doesn't seem to recognize the lyrics at all. This is a tough one, I don't know.

I can see the connection, however, the song style is very much more American, and AC was nowhere near anything like that at all! However, I do NOT have any Demis Roussos solo albums, and this could very well fit one of them.

I agree, early Aphrodite's Child was mainstream, but extremely dramatic, this sounds too plain for Aphrodite's Child. Plus Demis Roussos had a very characteristic and unique vibrato, that this vocalist doesn't have. The similarity is in the high vocal range, but nothing else. -------------
