I do feel that Hendrix is THAT GREAT, sure he's a great guitarist and everything, but imagine Steve Howe or Wakeman in ELP :)

I say who cares. The music would have been much different if Hendirx was in.

But I would have been able to hear more guitar solos, not keyboard solos.

No. Hendrix would have greatly brought thier music down. They were three visionaries and he wasn't. Hendrix didn't even read music. Plus, he would have had an enormous ego even though the other 3 were more talented.

I can't see Hendrix and Emerson being the in the same band, they'd be arguing over the solos. Then Hendrix and Lake would have argued over the singing, and then the guitar solos.

How about FELP, or Fripp, Emerson, Lake, and Palmer. That would have been good.

FELP? Now, that's more likely to have been interesting! Hendrix and ELP have nothing in common though.

Hendrix and Miles Davis are a better match and Miles always regretted that they didn't have the chance to record together, due to Jimi's short life span.

Actually there's an old folklore legend that Jimi and Miles did get together in NY for a session in '69 right after Woodstock. Never been confirmed though. Personally I think that's just what it is, folklore.

No!

Hendrix sure is the guitar God from outer space... but the band is/wasn't in need of a guitarist in that manner, not that kind of a guitarist, like I've said before it would've been cool to see Steve Hillage with ELP just for a show... then back to basics...

I don't think it could be better... it's awesome damn it!
