Inspired by the other Sabbs poll...

I vote Heaven & Hell. Fantastic album! Mob Rules is great, and although the band had Vinnie Appice on the drums, and the production was slightly better, MR lacks some of the emotion and substance of it's predecessor, IMO.

'Die Young' is also one of my favorite Sabbath songs

I feel kind of sorry for Mob Rules, and agree with Fandango that it's an underrated album.  But, Heaven & Hell is my second fav. Sabbath album of all, just behind Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.
I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

No competition really, although Mob Rules is an excellent album in its own right H & H is a classic.

Up with Vol.4 and SBS.

Saw them at Hammersmith on the H & H tour in 1980.

A night I won't forget in a hurry.

Haven't heard Mob Rules, so I can't vote...

Though I'm not keen on buying it, since Dio isn't my cup of tea, with some few exceptions, Rainbow's debut(yeah I know..). As for Heaven and Hell, it has very good riffs and ideas, but Dio's voice ruins those great ideas.

Not a teenager anymore, I'm afraid, but I still love that song to death (sorry for the pun!WinkLOL). Actually, H&H is one of my favourite albums of all time (I even reviewed it some time ago, though my reviews are not as readily visible now as they used to be) - an absolute cracker, with Dio in top form. That said,M ob Rules is a very good album as well (though not on a par with its predecessor), with a couple of near-masterpieces in "The Sign of the Southern Cross" and "Falling Off the Edge of the World".

Ghost Rider sums it up well, Heaven and Hell is a classic with probably Iommi´s best guitar solo on "Lonely is the word"

Mob Rules is also a great album though.

Heaven and Hell is a master-power-spectacular wham to the face. I love it. Mob Rule was good, but not even close to the degree of H&H.

No love for Mob Rules at all! At least not in the voting..

Oh well, I would agree that it is an underated album. I dont think there are any really weak tracks on it, it's just that the best tracks are not as good as the best on H&H.

One thing's for sure, Mob Rules is a great 'play loud' album. Vinnie Appices drums sound brilliant.

Hardly a poll- H&H against Mob Rules. And hardly a surprise on the votes.

Hawkwise: strange comment for an iconic rock voice.

Maybe not in the voting, Andy, but the problem you have here is the sheer brilliance of what Sabbath came up with when everyone expected them to fail big time without Ozzy.

Heaven & Hell's an astonishingly good, fresh, well written & well produced album & is easily in their top three releases right across their career.

Having said that though - with tracks like 'Falling Off The Edge Of The World', 'Sign Of The Southern Cross' & 'Country Girl' (what a riff!), Mob Rules was a great successor

If you want to give Mob Rules a chance, put it in a poll against 'Live Evil'
