Years ago, I had a classmate called "Selmen". He was a very nice person, so we did our best trying to avoid the obvious joke. It was very hard though, since it was easy to imagine him trying to talk with a girl, saying something like "Hi, I'm SELMEN", and, off course, the girl, running away because of the possibility of a sudden explosion of concentrated DNA. Other jokes involved Selmen being the water boy of a Football team (Rest of the world version, not northamerican). One of the players look at him with an empty bottle and shout: "Do you have some more(,) SELMEN!!!), and he says "No, I run off". Man, life was tough for us, always looking away when the teacher called him for anything. ¿Similar experiences, anyone?.

I knew a girl once who married a German guy whose last name was "Geishecker", pronounced guy-sucker (at least that's how we pronounced it).

I heard of someone named Abcde.

Personally, though, I just know someone whose surname is Coak, for Coakroach (Well, I translated it, but that changes nothing). Pretty sure he doesn't even mind anymore.

My friend's surname is Bone and her brother is called Jason, known always as Jay...

I went to school with a Karly Davidson.

There's a car sales place near me called Dick Lovett.

I think that's it... oh and I also know someone with the surname Dick!

Well, the spelling is not exactly right, but our local Dutch fish seller is named Dick Kok. Not sure why he doesn't want to go to England on holidays....
