Years ago, I had a classmate called "Selmen". He was a very nice person, so we did our best trying to avoid the obvious joke. It was very hard though, since it was easy to imagine him trying to talk with a girl, saying something like "Hi, I'm SELMEN", and, off course, the girl, running away because of the possibility of a sudden explosion of concentrated DNA. Other jokes involved Selmen being the water boy of a Football team (Rest of the world version, not northamerican). One of the players look at him with an empty bottle and shout: "Do you have some more(,) SELMEN!!!), and he says "No, I run off". Man, life was tough for us, always looking away when the teacher called him for anything. ¿Similar experiences, anyone?.

I knew a girl once who married a German guy whose last name was "Geishecker", pronounced guy-sucker (at least that's how we pronounced it).

I heard of someone named Abcde.
Personally, though, I just know someone whose surname is Coak, for
Coakroach (Well, I translated it, but that changes nothing). Pretty
sure he doesn't even mind anymore.

My highschool mates always talked about a guy called "Alan Brito Delgado" (thin little wire), but I think they made that up. But, I know a girl called "Rosa Espinoza". Also, when the laws of this country started allowing people to change their names, the first person that used the benefit was someone called "Anito". He was famous because of this. He even appeared on TV.

I forgot to include the translations for the names of my previous post. Rosa Espinoza would be like "Rose with spines", and "Anito", well, in spanish, "ito" is a diminutive. Like the way the "Y" works in english. If you say "Thingy", you are talking about a little thing. The word for "Anus" is "Ano" in spanish. This guy was named "Anito" (little Anus), so he changed his name in a hart beat.

That clarifies things (). But in American English, t occurring after a stressed vowel and before an unstressed vowel sounds like a Spanish r (as in cara), or almost like an English d.
So Anita sounds suspiciously like "I need a..."
Sorry to be so obvious...

That reminds me of the English name "Enis".
Sherry and the Enis (for you Family Guy freaks out there).
