Which of these very accomplished frontmen do you prefer. Do you like the pure energy of Cedric from The Mars Volta, the emotion of Jon Anderson, the presence of David Gilmour or the showmanship of the great Peter Gabriel or any of the above. I'd like to see your thoughts on who is your favourite?

tempted by Greg Lake and Jon Anderson but Peter Gabriel wins out for his mixture of vocal talent, songwriting excellency and amazing live shows.
Another emotional suicide, overdosed on sentiment and pride

From this list Peter Gabriel. Fascinating front man. He has it all: the emotion, the stage presence, a very original voice, even interesting choreography... he is one of those people that are really born to be front man. He always puts on a great show.

From the list I´d go for Peter Gabriel who always has new ideas for performing. I never saw him with Genesis but his soloconcerts has always been entertaining and with new ideas how to surprise the audience. I remember him disappearing from stage and when the spotlights finally found him he was sitting and singing in the lap of two women high up in the arena.

Another great performer but not on the list is Fish. Seeing a Fish-show is like being invited home to an old friend who has lots of great stories to tell you. A very friendly atmosphere!

There are some serious omissions in this poll. Peter Hammill, Ian Anderson, ZAPPA! Lorks.

I would have voted for Peter Nicholls of IQ, but he wasn't on the list, so I voted for Roger Waters.
