The prog is a men kind of music, I mean gentlemen music, through the years were a few good moments related to the intervention of women.

The only prog moment of a women leading a band is the case of Renaissance, the rest the women we`re occasionally invited to background vocals, Pink Floyd or Oldfield cases.

Why is it that there`s no place to women in the prog world???

THERE`S TO MUCH MUSIC AND SO LITTLE TIME TO LISTEN TO IT

Heather Findlay is a fantastic singer and also a good song-writer, so don't forget about Mostly Autumn!

And what about Tracy Hitchings (Landmarq, Quasar, Strangers On A Train etc) and Christina Booth of Magenta - I like 'em all

Over the years, there have been hundreds - literally - of female
progressive rock vocalists and musicians, in countries from Liechtenstein
to Panama. To take Japan alone, high profile female-fronted or all-female
bands include ACID MOTHERS TEMPLE, AFTER DINNER, ARS NOVA,
BONDAGE FRUIT, FROMAGE, IE RAI SHAN, KOENJIHYAEKKI,
MAGDALENA, MISTER SIRIUS, OZ, PAGEANT, PALE ACUTE MOON, PAZZO
FANFANA DI MUSICA, PROVIDENCE, ROSALIA, SADISTIC MICA BAND,
TERU'S SYMPHONIA, VERMILION SANDS and numerous others I've
forgotten to mention.
