Actually, the future of Progressive Rock began with the birth of 3 albums:
Lateralus
De-Loused in the Comatorium
Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV Volume I: House of Madness

I think they are good but I hardly see them as prog... it is still very amazing for me to find them here and bands like Wishbone Ash not.

one of the best band today. better then the mars volta IMO. I've
already say it and I will continue to say it. They are a prog band. And
I can't understand why some people go on saying they are not. Is there
a Conservative Prog Party?

Very good and somewhere on the fringes of Prog (and, a good deal more progressive than a good deal of modern Prog too )

I love Radiohead but I've never really understood what's progressive
about them most of the time. Kid A, maybe, but most of their music is
just really well-written, but not necessarily progressive.

Well... don't listen to them, and you won't be insulted. I've got six or seven of their CDs as well as other recordings and I've managed not to hear them for a few months so I'm sure it can't be too difficult for you

I really like one of their tunes (the famous one) and they did a good show at Glastonbury in 97, but I find them irritating because it is so obvious at times they (conciously or otherwise) sound like Robert Wyatt and other proggers but refuse to acknowledge the link.

I'm very conflicted on this issue. I think Radiohead are progressive (not necessarily symphonic prog, but as has been said many times, prog is not one genre of music). I'm also conflicted on whether I like them. I don't like the Bends (that one is definitely not prog), but I do like OK Computer (that definitely is prog). I guess I'll just have to buy more of their albums!
