I went Dark Side. However, Brain Salad Surgery is close behind. Honorable mention: Selling England, TFTO, Lark's Tongues.

Tales From Topographic Oceans Selling England By The Pound Dark Side Of The Moon
Although, I generally think of Tales as a 1974 release.

"Space Ritual"
There's good songs on "Larks' Togues in Aspic", but IMO they worked much better live.

My earliest Prog memories and influences are with:
- Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells
- Jethro Tull - A Passion Play
- Pink Floyd - Dark Side ofthe moon
- ELP - Brain Salad Surgery
These really helped shape me in my youth.
Most important of the year:
- Genesis - Selling England by the Pound
- Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
- Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells
- Yes - Tale from Topographic Oceans
- ELP - Brain Salad Surgery
It is too hard to place in any kind of order. These are all great
albums with different contrabution to the Prog scene. Enjoy them all.
